The simmering tensions within Zambia’s hip-hop community have finally boiled over, and the resulting heat is being felt from the streets to the suburbs.
The catalyst? A potent new RIDDIM titled “Gang Affiliated,” brought to the masses by Apa Ili So Entertainment.
What started as a platform for lyrical prowess has quickly transformed into a full-blown lyrical warfare, with the label’s heavyweight champions stepping into the booth to deliver pointed messages that have sent shockwaves through the industry.
At the forefront is the label boss himself, Jae Cash, who uses the hard-hitting beat to deliver an indirect but razor-sharp response to Bow Chase.
The tension stems from Bow Chase’s recent appearance on the Power Connect platform, hosted by Suecey Chigelo Chaku, where his comments seemingly lit the fuse.
Jae Cash’s verse is a calculated assertion of his dominance in the game, but he’s not the only one coming with force.
Y Cool turns up the intensity, landing even harder with lines that cut deeper going as far as questioning what Bowchase actually earned from his feature with Chef 187. As if that wasn’t enough, he also made it clear that Bowchase isn’t on his level to beef, claiming he can feed him 30 to 30 / 365 days without breaking a sweat.
